What rumors have you heard about the iPhone 5? That is has a larger screen, shaped like an apple or coming out this June? Well really, nobody knows what the truth is about it. We will only know, when it makes its grand entrance into our great technology world.

       I can tell you one thing for sure. That the new phone is not going to be shaped like an apple. These phones have been seen on Disney Channel television shows. Ones like Victorious and iCarly. But these are just fake phones made of cardboard. They might seem cool looking and who knows, we might have a phone shaped like that in the near future. But it definitely will not be the iPhone 5. Although, there is a rumor that may be true about its new appearance. It will be something similar to the jump from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 4. The new iPhone 5 might have a rounded body. This may be good or bad. It could be bad because people don’t really appeal to the iPhone 3 anymore.

       What about the talk about the new, larger screen? Now that talk is almost 100% true. But there is still one disagreement. Will it be 4 inches or 4.6 inches diagonally across the screen? With the new smartphones such as Android and Blackberry, Apple is still a competitor. But the screen size just doesn’t compare. The Samsung Infuse 4G has a 4.5-inch screen. Apple is losing many customers because most people want a larger display. The 4-inch screen just isn’t cutting it for the consumers in this technology savvy decade. Do you really want a new, larger screen on the new iPhone?

       The most anticipated part of the new phone is the release date. When will it really be? Well last year in the World Wide Apple Conference, they announced the new software update. Apple has these once a year, and they are in early June. Some people are thinking that in this year’s conference, they will announce the iPhone 5. It is a possibility. Others think that it will come out in August or October. It will definitely come out this year because they are coming out with a new one every year. Nobody knows when it is going to be this year though.

       There is going to be other appearance differences. It may also be thinner and come in different colors like blue and red. You can send your iPhone into a factory and they will replace the outer layer of glass and put in a colored piece of glass. That way, your phone will be a different color. But, this can cost up to $800! With the new iPhone 5, you can just pick what color you want without having to pay extra. Speaking about money, how much will it cost? Many people are expecting the next generation iPhone to cost the same as the iPhone 4 when it came out. That was about 500 euros. Now that will be for the 16GB / 32GB.

Will you buy the new iPhone when it takes its leap of faith into our technology savvy world? Will it be the new rage? We will have to wait and find out for ourselves.
